Concept/Theme Comments:

• Railroad / industrial history, now Wasson Way and current neighborhood
• I actually like any of the ideas! I think community-themed murals can end up feeling generic, though, unless there's a specific aspect of community it's celebrating--like events on the esplanade or people gathering at local businesses.
• Colorful abstract.
• key figures, key businesses and LAndmarks....depending on how much we can get funded
• I personally wish there was more celebrating the history of Oakley. I don't see much anywhere about "Four Mile", the railroad, the race course, the Cincinnati Milling Machine Co, etc and I think it's really important to give a tribute to how Oakley started and the people that lived in, worked in and built the community that it is today.
• Nothing political. Keep it Oakley friendly. Love the history part. With all the new development that look likes shipping containers, it’d be great to celebrate the history of Oakley because it’s slowly getting lost thanks to developers.
