FY 2022-2023 Biennial Budget Community Budget Request (CBR)
Every two years, each Community Council can submit up to 3 projects to the City of Cincinnati that they would like to see happen in their neighborhood through a process called Community Budget Requests (CBR). This process is intended for community councils to provide suggestions on funding projects that are paramount to the preservation and/or revitalization of each neighborhood. The communities’ projects are reviewed by appropriate City departments during their budget preparation (i.e. repaving a road would go to the Department of Transportation and Engineering). Potential funding options for the projects are considered and recommendations will be made to City Council in the proposed FY 2022-2023 budget.
Projects should relate to the implementation of an existing neighborhood plan or are paramount to the preservation and/or revitalization of the neighborhood.
The Oakley Community Council is Interested in your suggestions/ideas for potential projects.
This process will be introduced at the September 1st meeting, voting on the projects to submit will be conducted at the October 6th meeting.
Note: CBR funds can be used anywhere in the community, where as NBDIP funds are limited to the official Business District.
You must be an OCC member to submit ideas and to vote. To become an OCC member, it is just $10 per year (resident, $50 business), you can do so here. Your membership:
