The Oakley Community Council's Beautification Committee, in conjunction with Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, MadTree Brewing, City of Cincinnati, and other community partners were very happy to sponsor 2 community cleanups in 2021. Building on the success of these first 2 events (June and October 2021), we will be hosting annual Spring and Fall annual cleanups starting in 2022. The more volunteers, the more area we can cover, so look for future announcements and help us Keep Oakley Beautiful.
Our efforts focus primarily on picking up of litter/garbage that volunteers can gather while walking through the neighborhood. Bulk items and yard waste are not included in these annual cleanups, but special events could be scheduled if you have location(s) where this type of cleanup is needed.
Councilmember Keating and her staff are working on addressing the dumping and litter issues across the city. Please complete the Litter Survey here.
The Oakley Community Council is happy to announce that our next Community Cleanup will held Saturday, 1 October, 2022. Sign-in will begin at 8:30am in the Crossroads Parking Lot. Cleanup will run from 9:00 - 11:00am.
