Celebration of Community Day

Saturday, May 18th has been designated as our first annual day to celebrate all that the Oakley Community has to offer.

Kicking off the day will be a Community Cleanup at the Oakley Rec Center, 9-11 AM.  The cleanup will focus on the Oakley Park/Playground/Pool, Hyde Park Plaza, and the part of Wasson Way adjacent to Oakley. Every volunteer will be provided with a ticket that can be exchanged for a beverage of choice at the event/party on the Square that evening. CRC is looking into potential to be able to tour the new Rec Center, which is nearing completion.

You can register/signup for the cleanup here.

Then that evening we'll gather on Geier Esplanade/Oakley Square (5-9 PM) to celebrate the beginning of summer and the opportunity to join together as community for a fun evening.

Music will be provided by the School of Rock (5-6) and the popular Cassette Junkies (6-9).

Cincinnati Circus will provide face painters and a balloon animal artist.

Beverages available include:

MadTree Beers and Sway

Variety of wine

Bottled Water

Working on a couple other things, so check back for additional details.
