Adding educational signs at every crosswalk which states "State law stop for pedestrians". Majority of Ohioans do not know that it is Ohio law to stop for pedestrians. Ohio drivers believe they have the right of way at all times. We need to educate the driver to stop for pedestrians for the safety of all Ohioans. I believe Oakley should be the safest community in the city.

The average person needs to read/see/expience something at least 7 times before it becomes part of their subconcious. By having educational signs all through oakley at every major crosswalk, it will help drivers to know, understand and hopefully apply these laws. By learning these laws, drivers will hopefully apply these laws all through the city and will make it safer for pedestrians.
