When my now Form 3 lower was starting written narrations he also had a hard time putting his thoughts into words, especially with Bible lessons. I took a deep, breath, trusted the method and offered him opportunities to narrate in other ways like a drawing with with a sentence, cartoon strips and other ways like those mentioned by Joanna. There was so much growth in the 3 years he spent in Form 2, and to me the best thing was for him to see that he could do it, with time and practice, he was able to put his thoughts into a written narration. Now he loves to write narrations for Bible lesson :)
