Re: Proposed development for Planet Fitness in Oakley Station
Dear Mr. Briggs,
At the Oakley Community Council (OCC) meeting held on Tuesday, March 6th, Todd Reyling and Mike Twist presented development plans for Planet Fitness located at Marburg Ave. and Oakley Station Blvd. As this new proposed development is subject to the regulations agreed upon for the development of Oakley Station, The OCC was informed that the owner of this property plans on splitting the aforementioned parcel into two separate buildings, and this letter only addresses the land appropriated for the development of Planet Fitness. Solely regarding the Planet Fitness proposal, the OCC unanimously voted to provide a letter of no objection for the approval of Planet Fitness’ conceptual plans. While the Oakley Station PUD does not specifically fall under or is required to follow the specificities of Oakley’s Urban Overlay Design district, the proximity of this development is of concern and the OCC requests that the City of Cincinnati will consider these specifications during the approval process.
